According to BLS data, the injury rate of drywall installers is nearly three times the injury rate for all other construction occupations combined. To gain an understanding of these of these injuries, NIOSH has initiated this project to examine different approaches in both field and laboratory settings to identify and control high-risk activities associated with the traumatic injuries and overexertion hazards of drywall installation.
