This collection is phase I in the implementation of the new COMP2000 program. COMP2000, when fully implemented, will integrate three separate BLS compensation programs: Occupational Compensation Survey Program (OGSP), Employment Cost Index (ECI), and the Employee Benefits Survey (EBS). Data are collected from both the private non-farm economy and State and local governments. Data produced from this survey are critical in determining pay increases for Federal workers, in determining monetary policy, and are widely used by compensation administrators and researchers in the private sector.
