Abstract: This form is used by Federal, State, and local law enforcement to request that ATF trace firearms used or suspected to have been used in crimes. The form is also used by the law enforcement community to refer information regarding stolen firearms, obliterated serial numbers, or suspect guns to the ATF National Tracing Center.
