EPA needs to collect data on innovative treatment and measurement/monitoring technologies to address specific problems at contaminated waste sites. EPA will use this information to address specific problems at contaminated waste sites. EPA will use this information to maintain two publically available data bases used by the remediation, manufacturing, and investment communities and the general public. More accessible information may lead to increased technology use and export and to improved environmental protection.
