Abstract: FCC form 393 is used by cable operators to submit basic rate schedules in effect prior to May 15, 1994, and when responding to complaints about rates in effect prior to May 15, 1994, for cable programming service tier rates and equipment. The data have been used by the Commission and local franchising authorities to determine whether rates for service and associated equipment are reasonable under the Commission's rate regulations.
