A one-time survey will be conducted in
eight national parks to obtain visitor reactions to the new
recreation fee programs being conducted on a trial basis in those
parks, which represent a cross section of parks in the National
Park System of the United States. Results of this survey will be
used by the National Park Service, the Department of the Interior,
and the Congress to evaluate the trail fee programs.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
