Abstract: Pursuant to the Antarctic Marine Living Resources Act (1984), participants in certain Antarctic fisheries must obtain harvesting permits. Persons importing Antarctic marine living resources must obtain an import permit and submit import tickets. These requirements are necessary to meet U.S. treaty obligations.
