The proposed data collection will
obtain information on parental knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors
of sun protection for their children. 1,125 parents will be
interviewed by telephone. This information will be used in program
planning for CDC's National Skin Cancer Prevention Education
Program, which targets parents and children as childhood sunburns
are associated with the highest risk of skin cancer.
