Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended by ED memoranda of 8/25, 8/26 and 8/28. ED shall provide OMB with a copy of the corrected QA Workbook. In addition, in conjunction with this clearance, the QAP Tool Kit update and any associated materials shall be given to OMB prior to their distribution, along with any cover letter ED plans to send should ED decide to mail out copies of the QA Workbook.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).

The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
