Extension without change of a currently approved collection
Title 10 U.S.C., chapter 137, requires that DoD prescribe regulations to govern obtaining and protecting rights in contractor technical data and computer software. The DFARS text and clauses covered by this submission require DoD contractors and subcontractors to maintain records and furnish information regarding the creation and disclosure of technical data, computer software, and computer software documentation and to justify restrictions on the Government's rights to use or disclose such data, software, and documentation.
