This information collection is approved through 3-98 under the following condition: ARS will conduct an additional year of the CSFII for infants and children for the sole purpose of gathering intake data on amount and content of food consumed by children as indicated in the November 3, 1997 memo from ARS. EPA will conduct a separate anlaysis on pesticide residue exposure.

This is a supplemental survey to the CSFII 1994-96 to measure the kinds and amounts of foods eaten by American children. The survey is in direct response to the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996, which addresses dietary risk to infants and children.
