47 CFR sections 64.1100 and 64.1150
contain the Commission's rules governing changes in subscriber
carrier selections. We amend these rules to (1) require carriers
using letters of agency to fully translate the LOA into the same
language as associated promotional materials, oral descriptions,
and instructions; (2) incorporate the terms interLATA and the
intraLATA into 64.1150(e)(4); and (3) clarify that carriers must
confirm orders for long distance service by telemarketing using
only one of the four verification options contained in section
64.1100.
