The Minerals Management Service uses
the information to analyze and evaluate planned operations in the
OCS to ensure that they will not adversely affect the marine,
coastal, or human environment and that they conserve the resources
of the OCS and are carried out in a manner that is safe, pollution
free, and does not interfere with the rights of other users in the
OCS. Respondents are OCS Federal oil and gas and sulphur
lessees.
