The Committee on Finance, United
States Senate, under section 332 (g) of the Trade Act of 1930, has
asked the Commission to investigate competitive factors affecting
the U.S. macadamia industry, including competition from imports
from Australia, Brazil, South Africa, and the Central American
countries. The Commission has decided to use questionnaires to
gather economic data not available from other sources.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
