Abstract: FCC-610-V is used to apply for a vanity (special) call sign in lieu of a systematically issued call sign. Commission personnel use the data to determine eligibility for the radio station authorization and to issue a radio station/operator license. Data is used by compliance personnel in conjunction with the field engineers for enforcement and interference purposes.
