Abstract: Provides the location at sea of U.S.-flag and certain foreign-flag ships used for (1) search and rescue (SAR) in the saving of lives and is shared internationally with the worldwide Rescue Coordination Centers (RCC) of other nations and (2) the marshalling of ships for national defense and safety purposes. Reports are sent from ships at sea.
