Abstract: Nineteen non-rural telecommunications common carriers are requested to voluntarily submit data relating to the extent of their use of geocode data to locate customers. The Commission will use the information collected in the data request in its determination of whether geocode data should be used as inputs to a Federal mechanism that will estimate the forward-looking economic costs that non-rural carriers will incur to provide universal service in rural areas.
