Abstract: There are unique instances in which Agreement States must be surveyed on a one-time or as-needed basis to gather information on licensing and inspection practices and other technical and statistical information. Such requests, which are authorized under section 274(b) of the Atomic Energy Act, are used by the Commission for preparing responses to congressional inquiries and requests for information from other sources.
