will ensure that non-Federal governmental plans notify the Federal
Government and participants if they exercise the 1 percent
increased cost exemption and to disclose on request to these
parties summary documentation of the plan's eligibility for the
exemption. They will also require non-Federal governmental plans
utilizing the transition period for the increased cost exemption to
notify the Federal Government and to post a copy of this notice at
the workplace.
