Abstract: This will be a survey of boating and diving user groups at marinas from Santa Barbara through Los Angeles, California, and it will collect demographic information on sanctuary users, determine their knowledge about and attitudes toward the sanctuary, how they receive information, and their level of interest in current or future educational programs offered by the sanctuary. The information will be used to help develop education programs and to provide baseline data on users and uses of sanctuary resources to help in the review and rewrite of the sanctuary management plan.
