Abstract: ES-202 data, which are provided to BLS by State Employment Security Agencies, are critical to the administration of unemployment insurance programs, are used by the Bureau of Economic Analysis as an input to personal income estimates, serve as the sampling frame for most BLS employment surveys, are used as a benchmark for BLS employment surveys, and are used for economic analysis.
