Approved as
amended by CNCS' memo and submissions of 7/14/98 and 7/24/98. In
addition, the following conditions of clearance apply: 1) CNCS will
take all necessary steps to avoid any future delays in providing
public commenters with the necessary time to review the forms and
supporting materials associated with information collection
requests. 2) CNCS will re-analyze the necessity of collecting this
form twice annually rather than once annually. As a part of this
analysis CNCS will do outreach to project managers in order to
assess the marginal utility provided by collecting this form twice
annually versus once annually. In the next submission of this
approval request, CNCS will report to OMB on their findings. Note:
Because of CNCS' failure to provide commenters with sufficient time
to review this form and supporting materials, and because of the
substantive concerns raised by those public comments received, this
approval request is granted a 1 year clearance.
