Abstract: The overriding goal of this study is to build a valid picture of the human ecology of the Colorado Plateau. To build such a picture requires determining what future conditions of the Colorado Plateau will be desired by area residents. To accomplish this, we will measure perceptions and preferences for the environment held by diverse residents in SW Colorado and NW New Mexico.
