Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended by and consistent with DOL's memos to OMB of 8/10/98. Further, consistent with the second 8/10 memo, for the transitional period while ETA develops new performance measures to be consistent with the newly enacted Workforce Investment Act, ETA will reduce the reporting frequency of the 402 SPIR to semi-annual. Following the completion of ETA's efforts to revise the performance measures, ETA shall report to OMB on the utility of continuing a semi-annual reporting structure or returning to quarterly reporting. Also, it is noted that DOL articulated to OMB their agreement to the an agreement to the 6 issues outlined in the second 8/10 memo.
