Abstract: The information collection is necessary to make awards authorized by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, part D, subpart 1--State Program Improvement Grants. Eligible grantees are State Departments of Education. This program was newly authorized by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Amendments of 1997 (Pub.L. 105-17).
