The aim of this project is to determine resting EEG and ERP phenotypes in large American Indian families, correlate this information with psychiatric diagnoses from previous studies, and perform linkage analyses in order to map the genes for these phenotypes, which appear to confer vulnerability to alcoholism in Caucasians previously studied.
