Terms of Clearance: This ICR is approved with the understanding that EPA shall, in the next submittal of this collection, report the capital (non-labor) and animal species testing costs separately from the burden-hour estimate. Abstract: Under section 3 of the Federal Fungicide, Insecticide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), an entity wishing to market a pesticide must apply for registration by submitting various forms and data regarding the composition, identity, labeling, safety, and sometimes the efficacy of the product. EPA uses this information to determine if the product complies with FIFRA requirements.
