In 1998, we are screening Group
Quarters (GQs) as part of the American Community Survey (ACS). We
plan to continue this in 1999. This submission revises the existing
clearance to reflect the increase in the number of respondents and
time per response. In 1998, we are screening a sample of GQs in
eight countries. In 1999, we will screen a sample of GQs in 53
countries. The 1998 experience indicates the time per response is
about 20 minutes instead of 10. In 1999, we will use the same form
and procedures as in 1998.
