DCDCA of 1993 amends DEA's chemical recordkeeping and reporting requirements to remove the exemption for certain drugs which contain ephedrine. CMCA of 1996 removed the exemption for combination ephedrine, pseudoephedrine and phenylpropanolamine drug products. Persons who previously were not required to keep records or make reports regarding sales of the products now must do so.
