In addition, the Agency should adjust these burden estimates to reflect any addition activities required by the Federal Implementation Plan. Abstract: Statewide ozone season NOx emissions budgets and regulations limiting NOx emissions, based on the final NOx SIP call rule, are proposed for sources in 22 States and the District of Columbia. Starting in 2002, affected sources in the trading program in these States are required to monitor data to EPA to demonstrate compliance with emissions limits. Other affected sources in these States that are not in the trading program must begin monitoring and reporting in 2003. The EPA will also track progress toward achieving the Statewide budgets, which must be met by 2007.
