In order to support recommendations of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas, persons who import swordfish will have to obtain a dealer permit. The objective is to ensure that all imports of Atlantic swordfish meet the same minimum size standards as apply to landings by U.S. vessels.
