related to health care and welfare reform.

The National Health Interview Survey
(NHIS) is a multipurpose survey conducted to comply with the
National Center for Health Statistics' (NCHS) mandate under 42
U.S.C. 242K to secure statistical information on the amount,
distribution, and effects of illness and disability in the United
States and the service rendered for or because of such
conditions.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
