Abstract: These regulations apply to all commercial fishing vessel and seamen on such vessels. The information required to be collected is mandated and the information required to be posted is expected to reduce the unacceptably high rate of casualties. They will act as a means of verifying compliance and to enhance safe operation of fishing vessels.
