In light of the
relatively minimal burdens imposed, ane the desire of FHWA to use a
survey as part of its compliance reviews, we approve this
collection. We note, however, the comments of the Oregon DOT
observing low response rates and little useable information to
improve the safety compliance review process. We urge FHWA to look
carefully at these issues in the conduct of this survey and take
the results into account in justfying further surveys of this
kind.
