Abstract: This information is necessary to determine the eligibility of vessels to participate in the 1999 directed pollock fishery pursuant to the requirements in the American Fisheries Act, Public Law 105-277, signed into law on October 31, 1998. The AFA requires that certain actions be taken by the Secretary of Commerce before December 31, 1998.
