Abstract: The form SSA-8204-(TEST) will study the feasibility of using a questionnaire mailed to SSI recipients as opposed to the current labor intensive and costly in-person or telephone interview process. The information collected will be used to determine the recipient's continued SSI eligibility at the time of scheduled redetermination. For study purposes, an in-person follow-up interview will be conducted to verify the accuracy of information. Respondents are randomly selected SSI recipients in the Atlanta and Kansas City regions.
