Required by Federal statute and
regulation. Each State Protection and Advocacy System must prepare
and submit for public comment a Statement of Objectives and
Priorities (SOP). The final verison of this SOP for the coming
fiscal year is submitted to ADD. The information in the SOP will be
aggregated into a national prospective profile of where Protection
and Advocacy Systems are going. It will provide ADD with an
overview of program direction and permit ADD to track
accomplishments against objectives, permitting the formulation of
technical assistance.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
