Terms of Clearance: The information collection provisions associated with the NPRM for diesel particulate control for metal and nonmetal mines are not approved at this time. DOL is examining public comment in response to the NPRM. The preamble to the final rule will address how the agency has addressed comments related to minimizing the burden of this collection while maximizing its utility. DOL changes to supporting statement accepted. When considering public comment on this collection DOL will pay particular attention to any comments on the requirement that records be retained for five years.
