Abstract: This collection of information is necessary to implement the reporting requirements of E.O. 12928. The new information collection requirement consists of a new FAR solicitation provision to provide reporting of contract awards to Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions. The E.O. requires all agencies to promote the participatin of HBCUs and MIs in Federal procurement and requires periodic reporting on the progress.
