The SDFS Recognition Program was
established to recognize public and private schools that have
demonstrated exemplary practices in creating safe and orderly
learning environments. The newly redesigned program will focus on:
(1) Research-based principles; (2) collobration with partners
and/or co-sponsors at the Federal, State, and local levels (both
public and private); and (3) effective diffusion of knowledge about
what works prevent drug use and violence among youth.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
