PISA will collect policy-oriented and internationally comparable indicators of student achievement at the "end" of secondary school on a timely and regular basis (every 3 years). For comparability with other education systems around the world, 15-year-old students will be assessed in the U.S., and comparisons of results will be made with approximately 30 countries.
