Approved consistent with EEOC's memos to OMB of 5/11/99, 5/17/99 and 5/18/99. In addition the following terms apply: EEOC will implement the new race ethnicity categories (as outlined in the 10/30/97 Federal Register) in time for implementation of the year 2000 data collection. In implementing the new categories, EEOC will take the necessary steps to ensure that interactive diskette is updated so that it remains an option for respondents.
