OMB requests
that HUD review data submitted in item 14 of the form OMB 83-I to
assure that the cost data does not include the cost of hour burden
reported in item 13.(see instructions for preparation of data for
item 14) Corrections to the cost data should be submitted to OMB
using a "Change Worksheet."

HUD will collect information on the
GSEs' business activities to: measure and monitor compliance with
statutorily-mandated housing goals; to foster a continuing dialogue
between HUD, the GSEs, Congress and the public on the activities of
the GSEs with respect to affordable housing and underserved
mortgage market issues; and to improve the operation of the housing
finance market.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
