Abstract: The proposal would require foreign establishments engaged in the manufacture, preparation, propagation, compounding, or processing of a drug or device that is imported or offered for import into the United States to register at the Food and Drug Administration and to name a United States agent. The proposal would implement section 417 of the Food and Drug Administration Modernization Act.
