Approved consistent with DOL's memo to OMB of 6/25/99. DOL will, for program year 2000 (beginning July 1, 2000), implement new categories for race/ethicity, complete the transition from the SIC to the NAICS format, implement the new SOC (to be issued 7/99), complete the transition from the DOT to the O'NET (if O'NET is up and running at that time). All of these changes should occur simoultaneously so that respondents only have to change their information systems once. Because the changes will be implemented prior to PY 2000, this approval expires 6/30/2000.
