Abstract: To recruit effectively in the youth market for personnel, the Department of Defense (DoD) has a continuing need for valid, timely data on the attitudes of youth towards military service. These data are used by DoD and the Services to track propensity for military service, to evaluate recruiting efforts, and to assess the impact of recruiting incentives.
