Question 21, Section II to state " Do you often put in additional
work time which is not compensated? (1) Yes (2) No; and 2) adds the
question "If yes, how many hours per week (on average)?" IHS should
make these amendments to this instru- ment unless they would
significantly jeopardize longitudinal comparisons. If this is the
case, IHS should submit a written statement to OMB to this effect
for the record.

This is a request for new information
collection. The Indian Health Service (IHS) proposes to conduct a
survey to access and evaluate efforts to recruit and retain
registered nurses (RNs) within the IHS, tribal, and urban (I/T/U)
health care systems.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
