Abstract: 49 U.S.C. 60110 requires DOT to prescribe regulations requiring operators to notify customers in writing about excess flow valve availability, the safety benefits derived from installation, and costs associated with installation, and to install the valve where possible upon customer request if the customer pays for installation.
