Extension without change of a currently approved collection
Under the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the FDA has the responsibility to prevent interstate distribution of food products which are potentially hazardous to the public health. This information collection will enable FDA to exercise better control and increase assurance that containers of acidified food and thermally processed low-acid food receive a process which renders the food safe from microorganisms of health concern.
