Abstract: The Automated Export System (AES) is an electronic reporting system jointly developed by the Bureau of the Census (Census) and Customs that allows exporters to electronically transmit commodity booking information contained on shipper's export declarations and sea carriers to electronically transmit outbound vessel manifest information.
